Medeama chief Moses Armah rallies support ahead of Al Ittihad must-or-break tie

Medeama president Moses Armah is rallying support for his team ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup return leg against Al Ittihad on Sunday.

The ambitious Ghanaian side must overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg to advance to the next stage of the qualifying campaign.

Confidence has been building in the air for the Ghanaian side ahead of the make-or-bust affair against the North African side.

And the club's irrepressible president Moses Armah is urging fans to troop to the stadium to support his charges.

“I am calling on the supporters to come in their numbers and support the team. The team is made up of young players so we needed the supporters to rally behind them, he told Accra-based Happy FM

“This game is a must win for us so we must do our possible best to win the game.

“So am calling on all the supporters to come and their numbers and sport the team.”

There are no injury concerns for Medeama ahead of perhaps their biggest match of the year.
