Medeama have completed the signing of Ghana 2010 Fifa World Cup goalkeeper Stephen Ahorlu, the Premier League club said on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old has signed a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee from local side Hearts of Lions, Medeama said on their website.

He spent last season on loan at Israeli Premier League side Hapoel Ashkelon where he was first choice.

Ahorlu was an unused substitute during the 2010 Fifa World Cup finals.

Two more players have joined the Tarkwa-based side; Striker Sumaila Atia from relegated Real Tamale United and midfielder Siedu Yakubu at Berekum Chelsea.

This increases the number of new signings to eight.

The club are set to embark on a pre-season tour abroad before the start of the next Ghana Premier League.
