Reports that Medeama have signed midfielder George Amoako from relegated Liberty Professionals are false, according to the Tarkwa club's Chief Executive.
There were reports in the local media Thursday that Medeama had bolstered their squad with the signing of the midfielder ahead of the new season.
But Mr James Essilfie claims the reports are false and should be disregarded by the supporters.
“He is a good player of which we can sign him from Liberty anytime the need arises. But, for now, we have not signed any contract with him,” he told Ghana Sports Online.
Although Liberty were relegated in the season recently concluded, he was one of their best players with 22 appearances.
