Medeama to know Confed Cup opponent on Tuesday, Al Ahly, Kaizer Chiefs possible candidate

Medeama will know their CAF Confederation Cup opponent on Tuesday and could see them being drawn against record-holders Al Ahly.

The current holders lost 4-2 on aggregate against Libyan side Ahli Benghazi after losing 3-2 at home over the weekend.

The losing teams from the CAF Champions League will be drawn against their CAF Confederation opponents in the final qualifying hurdle.

That means Medeama are likely to face any of the teams including Zambian side Nkana FC,Kaizer Chiefs of South Africa, Ivorian side Sewe Sports, Horoya from Guinea and Real Bamako of Mali.

The rest include Coton Sports from Cameroon and AC Leopards from Congo.

The draw will take place at CAF’s headquarters, Cairo.
