Medeama lead chase for Karim Alhassan

Medeama Sporting Club are leading the race to sign Ghana youth defender Karim Alhassan.

The centre-back is said to be holding talks with the management of the Tarkwa-based side and he is likely to commit his future to the club.

Alhassan rejected a contract extension from giants Hearts of Oak after spending three years at the club.

The stopper is said to have told Hearts in plain language that he is not prepared to renew his stay at club.

Asante Kotoko have also expressed in signing the 20-year-old to solidify their backline.
