Midfielder Cephas Awunor says he not in a rush to become a regular starter for Medeama.

The midfield sensation has played a bit-part role in their Premier League surge this season.

Awunor is keeping the tabs of becoming a regular for the Mauves and Yellows.

Medeama tackle defending champions Asante Kotoko in the biggest match of the weekend and Awunor is relishing his chances against the local giants.

“Kotoko is a big team and so we are preparing to face them on Sunday,” Awunor told medeamsc.com

“It is the dream of every player to play for either Kotoko or Hearts when the opportunity comes.

“If the coach selects me, I will do whatever I can to help my team win on Sunday.

“The spirit and unity in the team is amazing and that will spur us to victory.

The Tarkwa-based side are top of the table with a three point lead over Berekum Chelsea.
