The head coach of Medeama SC, Prince Owusu has played down hopes of beating TP Mazembe in Lubumbashi, DR Congo this weekend in the CAF Confederations Cup but expects a good competition in the end.
Medeama SC are set to play the Lubumbashi kings in DR Congo this afternoon in the CAF Confederation Cup.
But the former head coach of Tema Youth is not overly optimistic his side can win in DR Congo.
It's Medeama SC first ever appearance in the group stages of the CAF Confederations Cup.
"We are still preparing. Things are going on well. Strong sides, four teams are in the group. It's not going to be easy.”
"I don't want people to think we are going to beat TP Mazembe and come back.
“It's going to be very difficult but in all the CAF Confederations Cup will be a good competition" he said on Atinka FM in Accra.
