Medeama have rejected Asante Kotoko offer for talented winger Derrick Fordjour ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
The enterprising forward has been on the radar of several clubs including Kotoko due to his swashbuckling performance for the two-time FA Cup winners.
The Porcupine Warriors presented an initial offer in an attempt to secure the services of the winger but the Yellow and Mauve reportedly turned down the bid.
Medeama, who are determined to win the Ghana Premier League for the second time in their history intends to keep Fordjour at the club.
Fordjour penned a four-year deal with Medeama in 2022 and has since been outstanding for the club. He showcased his prowess during the team's title-winning run in the 2022-23 Premier League season, tallying two goals and five assists in 27 appearances.
This season, the 22-year-old has made 10 appearances in the Premier League, scoring one goal in the process.
Kotoko are seeking to augment their squad in the second transfer window as they compete for the Ghana Premier League title.
With 18 points, the Porcupine Warriors find themselves in the 7th position after 12 matches into the campaign, trailing log leaders Bibiani Goldstars with five points.
