Medeama SC announce signing of highly rated forward Akesse Akesse

Medeama have completed the signing of highly rated striker Akesse Akesse from neighbours Nzema Kotoko, the club announced on Thursday.

Akesse, who turns 22 next month, has signed a four-year deal with the Mauve and Yellow.

He signed the mouth-watering deal in Tarkwa on Thursday after completing formalities.

Akesse told the club's official website: 'I am super thrilled to start this new challenge with Medeama. I have been looking forward to it and happy it has finally happened.

'I am one of you and I can't wait to start working with the rest of the group. I am looking forward to meeting my teammates and ensuring that we excel for our supporters.

' I can't wait to wear the shirt and give more than 100%.'

'He is a proven goalscorer who will thrive immensely on the Medeama platform.

The youngster bagged an impressive 12 goals to proper Nzema Kotoko to a respectable fourth position in the Ghana Division One League Zone 2.

He also provided nine assists and was voted Man of the Match on six occasions to underline his quality.
