Medeama SC have leapt ahead of Asante Kotoko in the race to sign want-away Aduana Stars impressive defender Godfred Saka, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.
Kotoko are in a three-way fight with the Tarkwa-based side and champions Berekum Chelsea to sign the 20-year-old.
But reports in the local media suggest Medeama have reportedly tabled a bid for the services of the right-back.
Saka played at this year's African Nations Championship in Sudan.
