Ghana head coach C.K Akonnor will reward Rashid Nortey with some minutes after the midfielder impressed both his colleagues and the technical team with his professionalism and ability in camp.

He has the best passing ratio for any midfielder in the Ghana Premier League and holds the record for most touches by a single player in the league with his 112 touches against Kotoko this season still unbeaten.
Akonnor is determined to engineer competition in his team and wants to send out a message that home-based players will have the same opportunity as the Europe based players only if the're willing to try.
