Melissa Satta has joined her husband, Kevin Prince Boateng in thanking Spanish side UD Las Palmas following the Ghanaian untimely departure from the club.

Boateng, who joined the Ibarian club last season on a free transfer from Italian giants AC Milan quickly established himself as a linchpin as he finished the campaign with 10 goals from 28 appearances.

The 30-year-old was linked with a move away from the club but the Gran-Canaria outfit tied him to a three-year contract extension.

However, fans of UD Las Palmas were stunned on Wednesday morning after news broke out that their last season top scorer is leaving the club due to personal reasons.

The maverick forward later in an organized press conference disclosed that he left the club because of family reason after being away from them for too long and thanked the club for welcoming him, and also promised to one day return to their fold.

His wife, Melissa Satta took to Twitter to thank the club for his husband’s great time there.

Boateng leaves Las Palmas, Melissa Satta: "Thank you for your welcome, we will always be grateful"

Another one said on her Instagram handle,"Thank you for this special year"

"Thank you for your welcome, thank you for the professionalism and the heart you have put to make us feel Thanks to the president and Las Palmas, we will always be grateful."

Boateng is reported to be closing on a move to Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt.
