Ghana captain John Mensah says there are talented players in the Black Stars to adequately replace Kevin Prince Boateng ahead of Sundayâ€™s vital African Cup of Nations against Congo.
The AC Milan midfielder pulled out of the match in Brazzaville claiming he aggravated an ankle injury after the end of the weekendâ€™s clash with Palermo.
Despite the absence of Boateng, Mensah insists there are players in the squad who can do the job perfectly.
â€œThere are many players in the squad who can play and are focused to do the job for mother Ghana on Sunday,â€ Mensah said.
â€œWe are focused and there are many talented players who can play so we are not worried about his (Boateng) absence.â€
Ghana must best Congo to brighten their chances of reaching the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
