Veteran Ghanaian coach Joseph Emmanuel Sarpong has stated that the mentality of the Kotoko players will be key in their upcoming game against Zesco United if they want to win the game and qualify.
Asante Kotoko have their work cut for them as they have to beat Zesco United to qualify for quarter-finals.
Speaking ahead of the game, JE Sarpong said:"The mentality of the players is key in the Zesco United game and not selection of players, he told Happy FM.
"Their motivational and determination level is key.
He also urged head coach C.K Akonnor to be focused ahead of the game on Sunday.
"C.K Akonnor should be focus and have a winning mentality. They shouldn’t waste chances like what they did in Kumasi, he added.
