Michael Helegbe returned to training on Wednesday but will have to pass a lateness fitness test to be in the Kotoko squad for their weekend game against Bechem United.

Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani has been forced to go without the midfield talisman after he limped off in their opening day victory over Aduana Stars in Sunyani.

The former Liberty Professionals winger twisted his left leg in the game and had not been able to train since early September but has now returned to training.

The Porcupine Warriors will still have to do without first choice striker Seidu Bancey who has also not played since picking an injury in their victory over Hearts in the second week.

Kotoko are seeking their sixth straight win with a visit to Bechem United in the Brong Ahafo region on Sunday afternoon.

Bechem, who lost their last home game at the Gyeabour Park against Hearts of Oak are not an easy side for Kotoko though they are yet to record a victory against the Porcupine Warriors.

In their past two encounters in the 2011/12 season, Kotoko recorded back-to-back wins over them; 2-3 and 4-3.
