Legia Warsaw midfielder Albert Bruce has been ruled out of action for two weeks due to a knee injury sustained at training, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

He picked up the injury following a late challenge on him by a teammate and doctors have advised him to stay on the sidelines for a period of 14 days to recover fully.

The former Asante Kotoko enforcer is expected to begin full physiotherapy session next week as he eyes a quick return to the pitch.

"I have small pains in my leg at the moment and the medical teams has advised I stay out of action,'' Bruce revealed to GHANAsoccernet.com

"I will start my gym session by next week and hopefully, I will bounce back fully recovered to help my side."

Warsaw recorded a comprehensive 4-0 win over leaders Slask Wroclaw last weekend to move within two points.

The 18-year-old, who joined the Polish giants in January on a three-year deal, has featured prominently for the side.
