Midfielder Awako on trials at Olhanense

Berekum Chelsea midfielder Gladson Awako has begun training with Portuguese top flight side Olhanense.

The 2009 Fifa Under-20 World Cup winner will train with Dauto Faquira's side for the next few days.

The Portuguese League began last week but the diminutive middle man could sign a deal before the summer transfer window shut at the end of the month.

Awako, 21, has been unsuccessful in previous trials with Inter Milan, Tottenham Hotspur and Recreativo Huelva.

He played for Heart of Lions last season and joined the Ghanaian champions Berekum Chelsea three months ago.
