Midfielder Joseph Mensah scores for AC Horsens in away victory over AGF Aarhus

Ghanaian midfielder Joseph Mensah opened his account for the new Danish top flight season for AC Horsens in their 2-1 win over AGF Aarhus at the Ceres Park on Friday.

Bubacarr Sanneh provided the game’s opening goal for the visitors after 18 minutes.

Mensah then doubled the Alliance Club’s lead three minutes later before AGF halved the deficit through Martin Spelmann in the 33rd minute.

The 22-year-old was replaced by Jeppe Mehl in the 70th minute of the game.

Both sides created plethora of chances in the second half but failed add to the first stanza goals as Bo Henriksen’s side got off to the perfect start with this hard fought 2-1 victory.

Mensah joined AC Horsen from Ghana Premier League side Liberty Professionals.
