Hearts of Oak midfielder Kwesi Asmah has set sights on playing in one of the top leagues across the globe in the future.
Asmah made a significant move in the recently concluded Ghana transfer window, joining giants Hearts of Oak from lower-tier club, Na God FC.
The talented midfielder was a standout performer in the Division One League, earning him a move to the Premier League powerhouse.
Asmah signed a permanent deal to join the Phobians and is expected to play a huge role for the club as they battle for the Premier League title this season.
“I want to see myself in the top leagues across the globe in the future” he told the club’s media in an interview.
Asmah made his debut on Sunday when Hearts of Oak played out a 0-0 draw with Basake Holy Stars in an away fixture.
He is expected to be involved in the upcoming Ghana Premier League clash against Heart of Lions.
Hearts of Oak are currently 5th on the league standings, accumulating 30 points after 18 matches.
