The Rossoblu coach Sinisa Mihajlovic spoke to the media following the 3-3 draw between Lazio and Bologna.
“Nobody, or at least very few believed in us staying up a few months ago. I was one of the few. The more that time went by, the more convinced I was that we were on the right road but it was still something of a small miracle. I’ve thanked the guys, they’re brilliant. The group is marvellous and they’re great men before being excellent footballers. I’m very happy and there’s no doubt we deserved to stay up. We did some good work mentally, never thinking about the opponent but always focusing on ourselves while looking to play well and enjoy ourselves. Now, we’re aiming to pull off a real masterstroke on Saturday to finish tenth.”
