Mihajlovic still under presidential pressure at AC Milan

AC Milan coach Sinisa Mihajlovic is still under pressure from club president Silvio Berlusconi, despite picking up a win in their last match.

The Rossoneri overcame a scare to beat Frosinone 4-2 in their last game before the Christmas break, after it was widely reported that the coach would have been fired had they not claimed victory, but that alone has not saved Mihajlovic from scrutiny.

Corriere dello Sport report that Berlusconi will be using the month of January to ultimately decide Mihajlovic’s fate.

In January, AC Milan will be taking on all of Roma, Fiorentina and Inter, in addition to Bologna and Empoli.

In the Coppa Italia quarter finals, AC Milan also play Carpi next month.

However, it remains to be seen whether the Serbian is handed any extra transfer money to bring in additions over the winter, as Berlusconi is apparently already angry that €90 million of the club’s money was spent in summer to no huge improvement.
