Mihajlovic: Udinese will be difficult opponents for AC Milan

Published on: 06 February 2016

AC Milan coach Sinisa Mihajlovic believes Udinese will ask questions of his side, but ultimately it is the Rossoneri’s performance which will decide the result.

The Serbian also believes that his side need to focus on winning against the smaller teams and on their travels at that has been their Achilles heel.

“We have dropped too many points on the road this season,” said Mihajlovic to reporters.

“If we want to make a real jump in quality something has to change mentally.

“We need to treat every game as though it’s the derby or a match against a really strong team.

“A win over Palermo is as good as a win over Inter or Fiorentina. We always need to play with the same passion and determination regardless of the opposition.”

The 46-year-old also discussed the match with the Zebrette specifically.

“Ours is a team which always plays to win, we take a lot of shots and create a lot of chances,” Mihajlovic went on.

“We’re a team that plays and creates and we hope to do so tomorrow.

“It will be a difficult match but it’s up to us to win it.

“They play better in away games so we will have to be intense.

“The will to keep doing well will help us if we all stay united.”
