Milan have Wigan and USA international Antonee Robinson ready to go, it’s reported, as soon as Ricardo Rodriguez leaves the club.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Calciomercato.com and others, the Rossoneri have identified Robinson as the ideal understudy to first choice Theo Hernandez in the team.
However, he cannot complete the transfer until Rodriguez has made his move, and that is currently up in the air.
Swiss international Rodriguez has rejected an offer from PSV Eindhoven, as he has his heart set on Fenerbahce.
The problem is that the Turkish club is under Financial Fair Play restrictions and confirmed via their President that the domestic federation had blocked the Rodriguez move.
They have to sell before anyone else can come in, which is in turn stalling Milan’s transfer strategy.
