Spanish Segunda Division side Mirandés secured their place in the Copa Del Rey third round without their Ghanaian goalkeeper Razak Brimah as they dismantled Segunda B side Racing Ferrol 4-1 on Wednesday evening.

The 27-year-old was on international duty with the Black Stars at the Stade de Kégué in Lome for the 2015 AFCON qualifiers when his club also ensured they progress to the next stage of the competition.

Attacker Urko Vera (22nd, 50th and 80th minutes) hit a hat-trick to put Mirandés 3-1 ahead before Igor Martínez cemented the win in the dying embers to kill of any possible Racing Ferrol comeback.

Razak joined Mirandés Córdoba II and has commanded a starting role, edging Spanish international keeper Imanol Elías who was between the sticks on Wednesday.
