Striker Abu Danladi scored the opener for Minnesota United as they lost 4-3 at Colorado Rapids on Saturday, 6 August 2022, in Major League Soccer.

The former Right to Dream Academy player put the Loons ahead in the  4th minute when he directed Fragapane’s corner kick into the net from close range.

It is second league goal for the 26-year-old this season in 16 appearances.

And that was Minnesota's 300th goal in all competitions since joining MLS in 2017

Danladi was replaced in the 65th minute when Minnesota were trailing 4-1 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Denver.

However, the Loons managed to pull one back late on when Brent Kallman headed in a corner kick from a Nabilai Kibunguchy delivery.

Minnesota United are now 4th in the Western Conference and will face Nashville next Sunday at home.
