There were three Ghanaian players in action when Portland Timbers drew 0-0 at home with Vancouver Whitecaps in the Major League Soccer on Saturday night.

Goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey was in post for Timbers and lasted the entire duration but winger Ishmael Yartey was replaced after 52 minutes.

Midfielder Gershon Koffie played the full duration for the Whitecaps who are on top of the Western Conference.

Portland Timbers are seventh on the table but have played one match less.
