Fiorentina have announced that former Ghana youth midfielder Amidu Salifu will join Serie B side Modena on loan for another season.Â
A statement on the Modena website read: “We have temporarily acquired the services of midfielder Amidu Salifu, born in 1992, from Fiorentina and with the option sign him permanently."
The 21-year-old made 29 appearances last season and helped the club to finish fifth and qualify for the playoffs.
But Modena were beaten by Cesena in the promotional play-off.
