Former Hearts of Oak coach Mohammed Polo has bragged that he could have built a better team for the club than the historic 64 battalions.

Hearts of Oak conquered the continent during the year 2000s, winning the CAF Champions League and the CAF Champions League with their squad popularly known by most Ghanaians as '64 Battalions'.

According to Polo, he could build an all-conquering side better than Sir Cecil Attuquayefio’s side which had talented players like Charles Taylor, Ishmael Addo and Osei Kuffour.

“Look at Sir Cecil Jones Attuquayefio, how many years did he use to win the African Cup. I could build a better team than that,” he told Pulse.com.gh

“I am telling you. I could develop a team that when you see them playing you will marvel. It is a challenge. A record is there and somebody must break the record. If you have the vim. He has done his and we have seen it and up till now they are showing their football."
