Mohammed Rabiu was voted among the best four players at Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala for the first half of the season.

The Ghana midfielder polled 4 percent of the votes cast alongside Vladislav Kulik.

Rabbi- who returned to competitive football this season after a lengthy injury layoff-made 11 appearances.

Goalkeeper Yuri Dupin was voted the club's best player at the halfway stage with 53 percent of votes.

He was tied on votes by striker Andres Ponce.

The poll was conducted by the communication division of the club on their social media pages.

Anzhi Makhachkala had a poor first round campaign after finishing second bottom on the table; five points away from safety.
