Former Black Stars captain, John Mensah, has praised the qualities of Mohammed Salisu, insisting he is good enough to excel at any club.
After struggling to stay fit following his move from Southampton to AS Monaco, Salisu has emerged as a key figure for the French Ligue 1 side in the ongoing campaign.
The former Real Valladolid central defender has so far made 26 appearances in all competitions this season with three goals to his credit.
Speaking in an interview with Africa Foot, the former Sunderland defender lauded Salisu's qualities and also urged him to consider returning to the Premier League.
“He [Mohammed Salisu] has the qualities to thrive anywhere. He already knows the intensity and demands of the Premier League,” Mensah said.
“A return to what I consider the best league in the world would be beneficial for his career.
“But while he has options in Spain, Italy, or Germany, he also has the profile to shine there,” he concluded
AS Monaco, who sit 3rd on the league log will host Le Harve in the French Ligue 1 on Saturday at the Stade Oceane.
