Defender Mohammed Salisu had terrible first half on Sunday, 24 April 2022, when he scored an own goal as Southampton fought back to draw 2-2 at Brighton in the English Premier League.

The 21-year-old playing in the back four for the Saints poked the ball home after a Leando Trossard assist to double the lead for the hosts in the 44th minute.

Brighton went ahead as early as the second minute when Danny Welbeck fired home.

But James Ward-Prowse's strike just before the break gave the visitors hope ahead of the second half.

He whipped home a trademark free-kick seconds before the interval after Nathan Tella is brought down by Marc Cucurella on the edge of the box.

Ward-Prowse snatched the equalizer on the edge of the Brighton box before the hour mark after a deft backheel from Oriol Romeu.
