Mohammed Salisu to miss Real Valladolid's trip to Valencia

Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu will miss Real Valladolid's trip to Valencia in La Liga on Tuesday night. 

The in-demand defender suffered discomfort in his left during training on Monday ruling him out of the big game.

His absence will be a big blow for manager Sergio González as his side travel to the Mestalla.

The 21-year old has been a sensation for the Purple and Whites this season, having featured 31 times in La Liga this season.

Salisu's incredible performances has seen Valladolid sit comfortably on 13th position with four games remaining.

The youngster's scintillating campaign has seen him pop up on the radar of several top sides including Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Manchester United and Atletico Madrid are also reported to be interested in the defender.

He is expected to recover in time for the next game against Barcelona on Saturday.
