Juventus striker Alvaro Morata was delighted with his side’s showing as they won 4-0 away at Chievo.

The Spain international striker also scored a brace in the first half to end a 14-match goal drought.

“I’m happy because we played very well,” said Morata to Mediaset Premium after the game.

“We needed to win to gives us the strength to keep fighting for top spot and we can’t stop now.”

The 23-year-old was also asked if he plays better when he thinks less and has a clear head.

“Yes, football is like that,” Morata went on.

“There were times before when I did great moves but the ball didn’t go in.

“I also feel better physically but it’s the head that makes you feel at your best.

“I’m really happy now because the team played at its best and it is hard to play against us. We have to carry on in the same manner.”
