Ex Morocco international Mustapha Hadji says Yaya Toure deserves the Caf Player of the Year award more than his other competitors.
The Ivorian international is in contention with Ghanaââ¬â¢s Andre Ayew and Seydou Keita of Mali for Africaââ¬â¢s most prestigious award.
And though the Moroccan legend admits the race is close to call; he believes the Manchester City midfielder shades it because he has been consistent in his performance for some time now.
ââ¬ÅThere are all very good players with unique qualities,â⬠Hadji told GHANAsoccernet.com.
ââ¬ÅIt is very difficult to pick one but I think Toure deserves it more because he has been there for a very long time.ââ¬
The winner of the award will be announced in a few hours at a colorful ceremony being held at the Statre Banquet Hall in Accra.
