Medeama's iconic football president Moses Armah has revealed that he has forgiven Sulley Munatri and urged that we all move on from the regrettable events that happened in Brazil.
The business mogul, then a management of the Black Stars, was at the receiving end of an unprovoked attack from Muntari during a team meeting ahead of Ghana’s game against Portugal during the country's wrecked World Cup campaign.
The shameful and unacceptable behavior copped the Al Ittihad man an indefinite suspension from the national team alongside Kevin Prince Boateng who had used vulgar words on then Coach Kwesi Appiah.
Two years after infamous night in Brazil Muntari slapped in an apology for his action that played a role in the team’s early exit and also stating his availability to play for the national team if his service is required.
His apology dominated the headlines with many contemplating if the man he physically assaulted will ever forgive him.
But Armah, who has just returned from DR Congo where his team Medeama lost to TP Mazembe, says to him to err is human and forgiveness is a must to all.
“For me I have forgiven Sulley Muntari and its all in the past we have spoken about the cadence with a light heart,” Armah told Accra based Happy FM
“Let’s all let go and it’s even in best interest of everyone that we forgive each other.
"I am a christian and in our teaching we have to really forgive each and that is case close."
