MoTM Myron Boadu’s hat-trick propels AZ Alkmaar back into title race

Dutch-born Ghanaian forward Myron Boadu bagged a hat-trick to shoot AZ Alkmaar back into the title race with ten games remaining. 

The 20-year-old attacker scored three times as AZ beat Feyeonord to go third place and just eight points behind leaders Ajax Amsterdam.

In a top of the table clash on Sunday between Ajax and PSV, the two giants shared the spoils as AZ Alkmaar took advantage to close the gap.

With ten games remaining, it is expected to that the top three sides will fiercely fight for the Eredivisie title.

Boadu’s return to form will be crucial for the Cheeseheads who are looking at winning the league for the first time since 2008/09 season.

The Dutch international with Ghanaian decent  leveled a Marcos Senesi opener in the 22nd minute before Luis Linesterra shot Feyernoord into the lead three minutes later.

Boadu scored at either side of half time to complete his hat-trick before Teun Koopmeiners sealed victory for AZ.
