The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana FA has dismissed a protest lodged by Eleven Wise against New Edubiase United for failing to honour their MTN FA Cup preliminary round match at the Essipon Sports Stadium on Saturday, March 25.

According to the ruling, Eleven Wise filed the case after the required period they were supposed to have lodged the complain had expired.

In their statement, Eleven Wise prayed the Disciplinary Committee declares them winners of that game as they dressed up for the game only for the visitors to fail to turn up, as stipulated in Article 34 (1) of the General Regulations of the FA.

But New Edubiase in their defence stated that the club was not given official notice of the match by the GFA.

The also argued further that no accredited official of the club was also communicated to by the GFA referring the Committee to the list of the officials of the club accredited for the season with the GFA.

Wise have therefore been ordered to prepare and play the game with the Bekwai-based side on April 12, 2017.
