MTN FA Cup final slated for July 24

The grande finale of 2010/2011 MTN FA Cup competition has been scheduled to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on July 24.

The final see's record league champions Asante Kotoko battle second tier side FC Nania which is owned and managed by Ghana legend Abedi Pele.

Nania beat this season's league champions Berekum Chelsea to reach the final while Kotoko needed a pulsating penalty shootout to oust Wa All Stars on Wednesday night to book a date.

The competition was revived this season after a decade of absence from the football calendar.

Kotoko beat King Faisal 1-0 to win last edition in 2001 courtesy an extra-time goal.
