MTN FA Cup: Legon Cities knocked out by Attram DeVisser on penalties

Ghana Premier League club Legon Cities have been knocked out of the MTN FA Cup by Attram DeVisser Soccer Academy.

The Division Two pulled off a major upset as they beat Legon Cities on penalties to advance to the quarter-finals for the first time.

The winner had to be decided via a penalty shootout after a 1-1 scoreline in regulation time after the home side scored a late goal to cancel out Jonah Attuquaye's early strike

Attram DeVisser came out tops as they won 5-4 after Attuquye, whose goal nearly secured victory for Legon, failed to score his penalty.

Former Asante Kotoko Maxwell Konadu, who was brought in to strengthen Legon's technical team last Sunday, took charge of the clash and was disappointed with the outcome.
