Defender Mubarik Yussif has been adjudged best AshantiGold SC player for January following an impressive start in the 2019/2020 season.
This is an award introduced by a section of AshantiGold fans named Top-AshantiGold Supporters Union and this is very first for season.
The fans are doing this in a way to motivate players in every game they play.
Yussif is first to win the coveted award after an outstanding performance since the Ghana Premier League started.
The central defender featured in all six matches in January. He netted two goals in process and was also man of the match winner once.
Yussif was being challenged by goalkeeper Frank Boateng, James Akaminko and Mark Agyekum.
