Sulley Muntari and Kevin-Prince Boateng have been included the AC Milan’s 23-man squad for their Serie-A clash with Genoa on Friday.

The Ghana duo have regained top form to help the Rossoneri climb to third in the Italian top flight.

Muntari has been in inspired form since returning from a lengthy knee injury layoff while Boateng has recovered from an early season slump to hit his strides again.

Star striker Mario Balotelli also makes the squad despite not training for eight days with a bruised shin.

Philippe Mexes also returns from suspension while Daniele Bonera, Luca Antonini and Nigel De Jong remain injured.

Milan will be looking to close-in on second-placed Napoli by picking a vital win at Genoa on Friday night.

The game is being played early to allow Massimiliano Allegri’s men enough time to prepare for next week’s crucial Champions League game against Barcelona.

Milan are weird favourites to ditch the acclaimed best team in the World with a commanding 2-0 lead going into the second leg game on Tuesday.

Milan squad for Genoa: Abbiati, Amelia, Gabriel, Abate, De Sciglio, Constant, Mexes, Yepes, Zaccardo, Zapata, Ambrosini, Boateng, Flamini, Montolivo, Muntari, Nocerino, Traorè, Balotelli, Bojan, El Shaarawy, Niang, Pazzini, Robinho.
