Inter Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari is confident his future lies with the Italian champions, despite recent transfer speculation. The 26-year-old Ghana international has been strongly linked with a move to Premier League side Tottenham, where he would be reunited with manager Harry Redknapp whom he played under at Portsmouth. Muntari's Inter slumped to a 3-1 defeat against Spurs at White Hart Lane on Tuesday night, in an entertaining UEFA Champions League tie in North London. After the final whistle Muntari reaffirmed his commitment to the Nerazzurri, saying he wants to see out his contract at the San Siro. He told Sky Italia: "My future? I have a contract to respect with Inter Milan and I have a good relationship with (club president, Massimo) Moratti. "I often speak with the president and I hope to stay here, I have so much confidence." The defeat to Tottenham leaves the European champions not yet assured of a place in the last 16 of the competition. Muntari praised the performance of Spurs and admits in the Champions League there will always be upsets, citing a disappointing showing against Dynamo Kiev last term. "Tottenham immediately started well," he added. "We didn't create anything concrete, while they have hit us at the first attempt. "This is football. In these stadiums it is always hard, but I hope however, that everything will be fine as last year, remember what happened in Kiev."
