Muntari rocket too hot to handle- Chievo goalkeeper

Chievo Verona goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino has admitted that he had little chance of keeping out Sulley Muntari's goal in the Serie A.

The Rossoneri won the game thanks to a first-half rocket via the boot of the January signing from Inter.

''Let's say that he didn’t shoot very softly,'' the former Torino custodian stated. ''It took very little time for the ball to go from his foot to the back of the net…''

Sorrentino had a relatively quiet night at the Stadio Bentegodi and he feels the 1-0 loss was an unfair result.

''It's a shame that we didn't take home at least a point,'' he added. ''We played a great game and we were just missing that decisive goal.

''Milan? They were very concrete and after scoring the first goal with their first shot, they just tried to double their advantage on the counter-attack.''
