The younger brother of AC Milan ace Sulley Muntari was sidelined by a tendon injury he picked up

He was an unused substitute in Tuesday’s 3-0 league win at Dinamo Bucuresti which sent them to sixth place on the table.

The 21-year-old’s last appearance for the club was back in December when he played 63 minutes in the 6-1 win over Sageata Navodari.

Muniru has been restricted to 11 league appearances this term due to injuries.

The former Liberty Professionals youth team could feature in the remaining three matches to the end of the season as he remains a favourite of head coach Petre Grigoras.
