Luis Muriel will be one of Real Madrid's biggest threats when they face Atalanta on Wednesday in the Champions League.

The Colombian doesn't always start for La Dea but is always a menace when he comes on from the bench.

"I always try to help, in any game, whether I start or not," he told the press before the game.

"Our style is very clear.

"We score a lot of goals because that's how we understand football."

Real Madrid have numerous absentees through injury but Muriel doesn't believe that will change much about their approach.

"We have seen their last games. It would be a mistake not to know about your opponent," he said.

"They have injuries, but they will always be Madrid. They always compete well. They are one of the best in the world."

Muriel always seems to be smiling on the pitch, and the Colombian says that he has always tried to approach life positively.

"Joy is part of my philosophy of life," he said.

"I always try to be happy and spread that joy.

"That's how I see life. Of course, sometimes I'm less happy, but I try not to show it. I prefer to be a happy Muriel."
