My knee injury setback was the hardest part of my life - Moro Alhassan

Former Black Satellite and Genoa FC defensive midfielder

laments on his sad injury setback which interrupted his playing career in 2017 till date.

Hard-working and solid defensive midfielder who works tirelessly to win balls and provide his teammates with possession was hit with unaware knee injury playing for Carrarese FC.

“My knee injury was the hardest and saddest part to admit in my life playing as a footballer,” Moro said on Awake TV sports show.

“Two matches before the end of 2016/2017 season with Carrarese FC, I felt deep pain in my knee calf without no one kicking me at training grounds.

“It’s started like a movie, I went back to Genoa FC for proper treatment which the doctors said nothing was wrong after numerous scans on my knee.

“Genoa FC tried their possible best for me but there was no avail of injury according to the scans conducted so I have to come home and start herbal treatments since 2017.

“It’s been three years now since injury eclipsed my dream of playing to higher heights but thank God I’m fit now and ready to start all over again”.

Moro enjoyed playing for Cesena FC, Vicenza FC and Carrarese FC in Italy since joining Genoa FC in 2012/2013 season.
