Dutch-born Ghanaian forward Myron Boadu displayed his goal-scoring prowess by netting twice to secure a draw for Bochum in the German Bundesliga.

The on-loan Monaco forward was pivotal for Bochum in their 2-2 stalemate at the Holstein-Stadion on Sunday afternoon.

Germany international Steven Skrzybski converted from the spot to kick off the scoring for Holstein Kiel in the third minute.

The visitors' resurgence was spearheaded by Boadu, who posed a constant threat to the Holstein Kiel defence. However, his persistence paid off in the 37th minute when he latched onto a pass from Matus Bero and fired a low shot from inside the box into the net to pull parity.

Two-minutes later, the Ghanaian attacker headed home his second goal of the match, doubling the visitors’ advantage in the thrilling encounter. Boadu’s brace ensured Bochum went to the halftime break with a slight lead.

Unfortunately, the Ghanaian forward had to be subbed off before the interval after picking an injury, making way for Moritz Broschinski for the remaining minutes.

Five-minutes into the second half, the home team pulled parity through David Zec as the game ended in a draw.

The 24-year-old Dutch-Ghanaian forward has been impressive in the Bundesliga for Bochum, scoring seven goals and providing an assist from 11 games.
