Myron Boadu’s move to Monaco falls through due to agent commission - reports

Netherlands striker of Ghanaian descent Myron Boadu is expected to remain at AZ Alkmaar as his move to Monaco has fallen through, according to reports.

The transfer has failed due to issues with agent commission.

The move was progressing well after the French club made contact with the Dutch club and the player's representatives.

French media reported that Monaco were confident of reaching an agreement and announcing the striker as their new player before the season gets underway.

But Boadu's agent has prevented the move from materialising after demanding a reported 10% commission.

With Monaco out of the picture, sources have also revealed that OGN Nice have made contact with Boadu, who is valued at 15 million euros.

Boadu, although being a subject of transfer reports, has been calm in pre-season with Alkmaar.
