Striker Nafiu Iddrisu once again proved lethal upfront as he scored in Asante Kotoko's narrow 1-0 win second-tier Okwahu United in a friendly game on Wednesday.

The ex-Feyenoord trainee found the back of the net in the first half as coach Maxwell Konadu continues to test his fringe players in a customary mid-week friendly game ahead of a league fixture.

Kotoko tackle bogey side Heart of Lions at the Baba Yara stadium as they seek to consolidate their position at the summit of the league table.

Elsewhere, Liberty Professionals also accounted for Pure Joy 2-0 in Accra to step up preparations for their Premier League home meeting against Tema Youth at the Sly Tetteh Stadium on Sunday.
