Nagatomo no interest in Manchester switch

Inter Milan full-back Yuto Nagatomo has no interest in a transfer to Old Trafford, says his agent.

The Japanese international was linked with a move to Manchester United on deadline day, however it is believed that the player wished to remain at Inter. The Manchester Evening News has reported that the player would likely reject any future approaches, with his agent stating, 'We haven’t set any meetings up yet and at the moment there are no major developments. We have offers from English clubs, but Nagatomo wants to stay in Italy and specifically with Inter.'

The player himself also said last month, 'I like everything about Inter, I want to stay here and renew my contract. I turned down an offer from Manchester United, as my desire is to stay here. I have an excellent rapport with Roberto Mancini.'
